Wordle served as the inspiration for Melodle, a word game with a musical twist. Melodle is to guess a secret melody that consists of five notes.

Feedback includes colored boxes corresponding to each letter you guessed.

• The green box means the note is in the secret melody and the correct position.
• The orange box means the note is in the secret melody but in the wrong place.
• A gray box means that the note is not in the secret melody at all.
